GROMMET REPLACEMENT INFORMATION & PRICING
A grommet set is a plastic component that fits around the head of your tennis racquet, protecting the frame and strings from wear caused by regular play, court contact and repeated restringing.
The usual picture of what the whole set of grommets look like. Most racquets have different models or versions, and they do not fit exactly the same on all of them.
Over time, grommets may become cracked, broken, missing or worn through. Replacing worn grommets helps protect your racquet frame, reduce premature string breakage and extend the life of both your racquet and strings. If you're unsure whether your grommets need replacing, simply bring your racquet in and I'll do an inspection.

The black plastic section on the outside of the racquet frame is the bumper guard, which helps protect the frame from wear and damage. The small plastic pieces on the inside of the frame are the grommets, which allow the strings to pass safely through the racquet without contacting the frame.
Please note: Full grommet replacement requires the strings to be removed. This service is charged separately from stringing, and standard stringing charges apply. Prices are below. :)
